What We Do
Project Lydia is a non profit, fair trade, economic development project that helps widows and abandoned wives in Uganda to overcome adversity and thrive. We currently work with 350 women teaching them skills to support their families and send their children to school.
Project Lydia women handcraft all items which include: hand rolled recycled paper beads which are designed into our colorful jewelry, hand woven banana leaf baskets, and handbags made of hand dyed African batik fabrics.
